Hydriots, through Hydrama Theatre and Arts Centre, participated in “Odyssey 24” - a project initiated by the European Festival of Latin and Greek. On 24 March at 11am, over 180 groups, in 40 countries, simultaneously read one of the 24 Rhapsodies of Homer’s Odyssey in various languages.

We were one of the few groups that were invited to participate in the “live streaming” event – so, in spite of the fact that this was at exactly the same time as the celebrations (church service and parades) marking Greek Independence Day were taking place, we stood valiantly in the middle of it all in Hydra port and with "kefi" read our Homer… We did it!!! We also filmed a three-minute overview of Rhapsody 5 in Vlychos.
